CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Deleted Syllabus 2026-27
The CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Deleted Syllabus 2025–26 includes the removal of several chapters and topics from both Organic and Physical Chemistry to reduce the academic load on students. As per the latest CBSE curriculum, complete chapters like Surface Chemistry, Polymers, p-Block Elements, Chemistry in Everyday Life, and General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Elements have been deleted.
Additionally, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen has been renamed as Amines (Unit 9), and topics such as Cyanides and Isocyanides have been removed from the syllabus. With these changes, CBSE has shifted focus towards high-scoring and conceptually important units like Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Coordination Compounds, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Alcohols Phenols and Ethers, helping students prepare more effectively for CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2026.
